Description
TERROIR
Clay-limestone soil
GRAPE VARIETY
100% Chardonnay
GROWING METHOD
A new white varietal wine launched on the estate in 2013. This Chardonnay is machine-harvested, destemmed and sorted, and made by direct pressing at low temperature to preserve the grape’s primary aromas
We do not irrigate our plots, which explains its fairly low yield for a single-varietal wine. This way of working allows us to make very aromatic and fruity wines
AGEING POTENTIAL
2 years
AGEING
The wine is aged on fine lees, without any time in barrel, for 2–3 months
TASTING
Crystal-clear colour with golden highlights. The nose is marked by white-fleshed fruit such as pear and vineyard peach, with touches of floral notes. The attack is aromatic and fresh. The palate has a fine balance of fruit, richness and alcohol. The finish is long and harmonious. This white wine will delight you with its freshness and finesse
TASTING ADVICE
Best enjoyed between 8°C and 10°C, as an aperitif and/or with melon, Parma ham, tapas, fish and seafood
