Description
Clos des Vins d’Amour has been a family vineyard since 1860, in Maury, in Roussillon, and is now run by the Dornier siblings. Its 24 hectares, worked entirely by hand, are spread across schist terroirs between Tautavel, Maury and Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, at the foot of the Château de Quéribus. Harvesting is done by hand, in small crates, with sorting in the vineyard.
Carignan en Famille showcases this historic Roussillon grape variety, as an IGP Côtes Catalanes, in a crunchy, fresh style.
The colour is a deep, bright red; the nose offers an intense bouquet of ripe fruit with peppery notes. On the palate, the attack is generous and full of fruit.
