Description
The Beaujolais-Villages from Domaine des Deux Fontaines expresses all the finesse of Gamay on the granite slopes of northern Beaujolais.
The brilliant ruby colour heralds an expressive nose, dominated by fresh cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, lifted by a touch of violet and light sweet spices.
The palate is characteristic of a generous vintage: a round attack, fine yet ample substance, silky tannins and a beautifully juicy fruitiness. The whole is carried by a delicate acidity that brings rhythm and freshness. The clean, thirst-quenching finish leaves a sense of purity and precision.
