Description
Arnaud Boué founded his house in 2018 in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, after some ten years spent at several Burgundy estates and vintages in New Zealand and South Africa. He seeks fresh, precise wines that let the terroir speak rather than overripeness, and works with organically grown grapes.
Perched above Meursault, Saint-Romain is one of the coolest appellations of the Côte de Beaune. This Chardonnay, whole-bunch pressed and aged in previously used barrels, favours purity of fruit and the expression of limestone.
The nose opens with white flowers and linden, with a light touch of oak. The palate combines white fruit, lovely acidity and mineral precision, leading to an elegant, persistent finish.
