Description
Arnaud Boué founded his house in 2018 in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, after some ten years spent at several Burgundy estates and vintages in New Zealand and South Africa. He seeks fresh, precise wines that let the terroir speak rather than overripeness, and works with organically grown grapes.
Les Chaboeufs is a Nuits-Saint-Georges premier cru, to the south of the village. Its clay-limestone soils bring depth and structure. The wine is aged for 16 months in previously used oak barrels.
A nose of ripe red fruit, flowers, herbs and sweet spices; a lively palate, fine tannins and a long, earthy, liquorice finish. Excellent ageing potential.
