This wine, with its lovely garnet colour, offers a very expressive aromatic palette with notes of blackberry, garrigue, red plum, fresh fig and spices such as white pepper. This cuvée is produced from vines on steep south-facing slopes. This exposure, at an altitude of 280 metres, yields grapes of great ripeness and fine concentration. Harvested by hand with rigorous sorting in the vineyard, the grapes are then taken to the winery to be destemmed and put into vats. Winemaking begins with a 15-day maceration with gentle punching down and pumping over, followed by alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats. Ageing takes place in concrete vats for 4 to 5 months.
