Corbières AOP – Domaine Sainte Marie des Crozes – Milo – white

Description

SOIL: Clay-limestone

WINEMAKING
This cuvée is vinified specially at low temperature to develop the aromatic power of the three grape varieties and release their intense fruit aromas.
Vinified at low temperature, the juice is separated from the skins and pulp halfway through fermentation, so that fermentation finishes in pursuit of pure fruit alone.

50% of the cuvée is vinified and aged in barrels; the rest is aged in clay jars to favour balance and preserve freshness.

TASTING
A lovely bright golden yellow, this wine reveals an intense nose of white fruit (peach, apricot), joined by fine oaky notes of vanilla and chestnut cream.
The palate is powerful from the attack onwards, perfectly balanced between volume and acidity. The fruity and floral aromas linger on the palate.
