Description
The Beaujolais Nouveau from Domaine Ruet is the estate’s festive cuvée, true to the tradition of primeur wine. It is made exclusively from Gamay, from vines aged 10 to 20 years planted on granite and clay-limestone soils.
The winemaking follows the traditional method of semi-carbonic maceration: whole bunches ferment for a few days in vat, at a controlled temperature, to preserve the fruit and freshness. The wine is then aged in stainless steel vats.
From one year to the next, the cuvée shows a vivid, brilliant red colour, a nose of fresh red fruit (cherry, strawberry, raspberry) lifted by floral touches, and a supple, thirst-quenching palate with light tannins.
2026 vintage – official release on Thursday 19 November 2026. Beaujolais Nouveau may only be handed over to customers from the third Thursday of November: you can reserve it now, and it will be shipped or delivered from that date.
Serve between 12 and 14 °C, with charcuterie, fresh cheeses or poultry. Best enjoyed in the months following its release.
