Description

Courtault Michelet are a family of winemakers from Chablis. They also produce this red from Épineuil, a small appellation in the Tonnerrois area, some twenty kilometres from Chablis.

The Côte de Grisey is a fine south-east-facing slope: the soil is thin and the roots plunge straight into the limestone, giving the wine its mineral freshness. Ruby colour, nose of red fruit and cherry, fruity palate with supple tannins.

Technical sheet:
• 100% Pinot Noir
• Terroir: Côte de Grisey slope, limestone
• Serving: 14–16 °C
• Pairings: charcuterie, roast pork, poultry, Burgundy cheeses
