Description
Domaine Ruet is a family of Beaujolais winemakers, known for its Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly. Every autumn, the estate offers two primeurs: a Beaujolais Nouveau and this Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau.
Made exclusively from Gamay, it comes from the villages of the Beaujolais-Villages appellation, in the north, on predominantly granite soils that produce more structured wines. It is vinified in the primeur tradition, by semi-carbonic maceration, to preserve the fruit and freshness, then aged in vat.
Expect a vivid red colour, a nose of crunchy red fruit (cherry, raspberry) lifted by a floral touch, and a supple, juicy palate, a little denser than that of the Beaujolais Nouveau.
2026 vintage – official release on Thursday 19 November 2026. Beaujolais Nouveau may only be handed over to customers from the third Thursday of November: you can reserve it now, and it will be shipped or delivered from that date.
Serve between 12 and 14 °C, with Lyonnais charcuterie, saucisson brioché, poultry or fresh cheeses. Best enjoyed in the months following its release.
