Description
The Beaujolais Nouveau 2024 from Domaine Ruet is a festive, expressive cuvée, typical of the Beaujolais Nouveau tradition. Made exclusively from Gamay, this wine comes from selected plots within the Beaujolais appellations. The vines, aged 10 to 20 years, grow on granite and clay-limestone soils, which encourage good aeration and fine ripeness in the grapes.
The winemaking follows the traditional method of semi-carbonic maceration, in which whole bunches are fermented in vats for a few days at a controlled temperature. This process, typical of Beaujolais Nouveau, draws out the fruity aromas and preserves the wine’s freshness. After fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel vats to maintain its aromatic purity and liveliness.
To the eye, the colour is a vivid, bright red, typical of young wines. The nose is a true festival of fresh red fruit such as cherry, strawberry and raspberry, with delicate floral touches. The palate is soft, fluid and very pleasant, with lovely acidity that brings freshness and perfect balance. The tannins are supple, and the light, lingering finish invites you to drink it straight away.
This 2024 Beaujolais Nouveau is a wine made for drinking straight away, ideal served chilled at convivial meals, with charcuterie, fresh cheeses or light poultry dishes.
Served between 12 and 14°C to enjoy its freshness and liveliness, this wine truly reflects the joy and lightness of Beaujolais Nouveau. Perfect for marking the arrival of the new vintage and for sharing convivial moments with friends or family.
