Based in the heart of Alsace wine country, at the foot of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, the family has been selling its wine since 1958. The Engel brothers now farm 20 ha of vines, a good share of which lies in the Praelatenberg grand cru. Hubert works in the vineyard and Christian in the cellar, now joined by Pierre, who represents the third generation. Certified organic since 2014.
