For four generations, winemaking has set the rhythm of life for the CHAPELLE family. For them, each wine is the story of an alliance between the terroirs that bear them, inherited from their elders, and the people who work them and bring them to life. This alliance is symbolised in the DOMAINE CHAPELLE logo.
Every great wine begins in the vineyard, where everyone puts their experience and know-how into practice. By choosing organic viticulture, the current members of the CHAPELLE family and their team are committed to farming practices that respect nature and the environment.
Their approach to farming
From the early 1980s, Roger Chapelle noticed a significant rise in spider mites, pests unknown in such large numbers in his youth, as well as the selection of certain weeds resistant to herbicides. He also noted a downward trend in acidity in the wines.
