Description
Less sunny than its illustrious neighbours on the Côte de Beaune, Monthélie and Meursault, the Auxey-Duresses vineyard produces powerful red wines, slightly tight in their youth, like this cuvée Les Closeaux from Laurent Boussey. Its intense fruit immediately asserts aromas of blueberry and blackberry, on a fine, velvety texture, with tannins that soften quickly after a few years of ageing. This red wine from Bourgogne is a perfect match for white meats or poultry. Serve at 16°C.
