Description

In the 14th century, the significant presence of the Italian grape variety “Trebbiano Bianc” in south-eastern France coincided with the arrival of the Popes in Avignon. Renamed Ugni Blanc, this transalpine heritage is generous, late-ripening and resistant to the vagaries of nature. It naturally migrated towards the distilling regions, as it yields fine, high-quality eaux-de-vie.
