Fitou AOP – Champ des Sœurs – La Tina – red

Here, Carignan takes pride of place, ennobled by Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre. Harvested by hand, the grapes are vinified traditionally, as whole and destemmed bunches. The Grenache and Mourvèdre are vinified and aged in demi-muids, while the Carignan is aged in a truncated-cone wooden vat for 1 year. As the main grape variety, Carignan gives freshness and structure to this fresh, mouth-watering cuvée. Built for ageing, it can be kept for up to 20 years.
